Terrance Quataert
Terrance Quataert

Terrance Quataert unknowingly became a photographic artist when he found one of his photos published in the national magazine, Astronomy, when he was 13 years old. While he’s had a lifelong interest in taking photographs, it has only been the past five years that he’s devoted much more time to developing his art.  Terry’s first art show was presented in May 2010.

This was a multi-media exhibition including photography, mosaics and pottery.   Terry has an eye for detail and loves bright,

vivid colors. Of particular interest is the fracturing of white light into the full spectrum of color. His subject interests include sky phenomena, architecture, and all facets of nature.  Terry has had numerous submissions to ROCO’s 6×6 shows including photos, drawings and art made from natural organic elements.  Growing up with a father who is a professional photographer has greatly influenced his life. Terry has dreamed for a long time for an opportunity to bond with his father through their shared artform of photography.  As a member of ArtisanWorks, “The Q Continuum” is this first opportunity to reach into the world of color and non-color, of light and shade, and of father and son.
