ROCHESTER, NY — ARTISANworks founder Louis Perticone, Film Director Thomas Marini and Writer Otto Bruno will premiere a short documentary about the evolution of Rochester’s beloved ARTISANworks at Nazareth’s Callahan Theater on July 20. The thirty minute rough-cut entitled ARTISANworks: A Work In Progress will explore the sprawling exhibit space and include interviews with avid supporters, administrators and artists. It will present a comprehensive history of ARTISANworks from its birth as the Elizabeth Collection nearly twenty years ago to its present status as a non-profit community arts hub.

The premiere will begin with a reception in the Upper Lobby at the Nazareth College Arts Center at 5:30pm followed by an introductory Lecture with Director Thomas Marini at 6:30pm in the Callahan Theater. Screening and discussions with ARTISANworks’ Founder Louis Perticone will begin at 6:45pm.

ARTISANworks: A Work In Progress was produced and edited in part by Morning Light Films, Next Media (Post Production) and Regional Sight and Sound (headed by Randy Sparrazza). Director Thomas Marini and ARTISANworks’ Founder Louis Perticone look forward to sharing the film with the community at Nazareth’s Callahan Theatre.
